She will support its delivery of financial planning services for clients including regional SMEs and high net worth individuals.

Alice joins the business having worked for a number of years with Darlington Building Society as a mortgage adviser and within financial wealth management.

She previously gained a CeMAP in mortgage advisory, IFS diploma in financial services management and qualified as a financial planner in 2017 by completing the CII diploma in regulated financial planning.

“Everyone here at Novus Wealth Management has been so welcoming and I’m enjoying my new role,” she said.

“I find the most interesting aspect of working in financial planning is getting an insight into the lives of our clients.

“We often get a glimpse of the most important stages in people’s lives, so it’s a great privilege to be working with our clients to help them achieve their goals.”

Account executive Lauren Brown commented on her ongoing training: “I’d originally trained as a journalist before deciding to change my career.

“I’ve been a part of the Novus team since 2016 and I’m pleased to be working towards my professional qualifications.

“The team have been very supportive.”
