April showers can't spoil Easter fun in Hartlepool park
Children met the Easter bunny and completed an egg hunt trail to receive the chocolate treats generously provided by Hartlepool’s Tesco Extra in Burn Road.
They also took advantage of craft activities, games and face painting in the popular park and bowls pavilion.

It was held during the Easter school holidays to help families entertain the kids.
Graeme Measor, secretary of the Friends of Seaton Park, said: “Lots more people turned out than I thought would because of the weather.
“Despite raining, most of the time the kids enjoyed it.”
Tesco’s community champion Selina Wilson put on the rabbit ears to entertain as the Easter bunny.

And the bowls pavilion provided a respite from the rain and a place where youngsters played games and got their faces painted.
The friends group are all volunteers, who work to improve the park for visitors.
Anyone who wants to get involved or who can help apply for funding can find out more at the next meeting on Tuesday.
It takes place in the lounge of Seaton Social Club, Station Lane, at 6pm.
All are welcome to attend.
