It was all about the youngsters during the second day of the 554th Greatham Feast celebrations.
Children from Greatham Primary School paraded around the village green ahead of the traditional service at St John the Baptist Church.
Once the service was over they filed out onto the grass on the Front Street waving their flags for photographs, as generations of pupils have done before them.
After that attention turned to the younger kids from the village, as the annual Bonny Baby competition took place in the Community Centre.
The gorgeous tots left the judges with some very difficult decisions on who should be given the rosettes.
Rosie Hutchinson scooped first place in the 0-6 months category, while Amber Armstrong won the 6-12 month section, with Ted Howell coming second.
Ivy Hall led the way in the 12-18 month class, while Isla Flounders won the 18-30 months section, with Rosie Rawlings, Arli Vaughan, and Zak Chapelhow picking up second, third and fourth place.
Overall winner was pretty Amber. As well as the popular parade today, an afternoon of fun and games was on the cards including amusements and stalls, glamourous grandmother competition, magic show, balloon modelling, Ami Ford’s zumba show and more. The entertainment is set to continue into the night when The Hobbies perform on the green. Take along your own refreshements and seating and dance the night away.
The Feast draws to a close for another year on tomorrow afternoon, when families are invited back to the green for fun sports and children’s tea.
