Back in time
I am writing about the photo of the clock presentation (Mail, May 14).
My wife’s dad, Jimmy Smith, is fifth from the right, just to the left of the gentleman making/receiving the presentation.
I can’t help with the year but Jim worked for Sir William Gray as a French polisher for many years.
I would be interested to know if anyone has information about the photo of the bairns with dolls and teddies etc.
I think one little girl near the centre could be my grand-daughter.
Does anyone know where it was taken and in what year?
I think it could be a mother and toddler group.
I look forward to any replies.
