MUSIC lovers are in for a treat later this month as The Pretend Beatles are heading to a popular social club.
Owton Manor Social Club, in Wynyard Road, Hartlepool, is hosting the gig as part of a new programme of events, which began in November last year.

Club bosses are looking to raise the profile of the popular social club, at the heart of the Owton Manor estate.
Tommy Wormald, a concert promoter, said: “We are looking to welcoming The Pretend Beatles to the Owton Manor club, and hope to attract people from all over the town, and further afield.
“We are looking to help raise the profile of the Owton Manor club.”
A series of “top quality” acts such as Geno Washington and Pink Floyd tribute - Shine On, have already graced the stage at the venue.
“We have already had some well-established tribute acts that always prove very popular and we are expecting the tickets to sell really well so people shouldn’t delay if they fancy coming along,” added Tommy.
Previous acts have included Ryan McGarvey, The Mentulls, David Bowie tribute band, Black Rose, Albany Down and Shine On.
Tickets for The Pretend Beatles tickets cost £10 and organisers say they are available from Owton Manor Social Club, Wynyard Road, or by calling (01429) 281399 for more information about the gig.
