Bike thieves being hunted

POLICE are hunting thieves after two bicycles and a small motorbike were stolen in two separate incidents.

A house in Tulip Close, Hartlepool, was burgled between 8.45am and 9.15am on Friday, January 14, and two bicycles were stolen.

A yellow Suzuki motorbike was then stolen from outside a house in Linden Grove, Hartlepool, between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday, January 15.

Police say the man and woman’s bicycles are a rare Scandinavian make called DBS.

The man’s bicycle is black while the woman’s is red and has a basket on the front as well as a child seat on the back.

The motorbike is said to be new with a black seat and is suitable for a child aged seven to eight.
