POLICE have confirmed that a body found in Newcastle city centre yesterday was that of missing Hartlepool graphic designer Kelvin Bradley.
The popular 18-year-old, who was working at Tower Designs, in Tower Street, Hartlepool, had been missing since Saturday when he was last spotted in the city centre with his friends.
Durham Police said the body was found in the service area behind Eldon Square, in Newcastle yesterday.
The Ferryhill teenager’s death is not being treated as suspicious and police have thanked everyone who helped in the search over the last few days.
A police spokeswoman said: “We are now able to formally identify the body recovered by police as 18-year-old Kelvin Bradley, from Ferryhill.
“He had been missing from home since Saturday.
“His body was found in a service area at the rear of Eldon Square.
“His death is not being treated as suspicious.
“Our thoughts are with Kelvin’s family at this time and we would like to thank everyone who helped in the search for Kelvin.”
