Bonfire Night forecast: Wrap up warm!

editorial image

IT’S a chilly and breezy day with showers coming in off the North Sea.

But if you’re away from the coast it should be mainly dry with winds dropping and sunny spells likely.

It is expected to stay clear tonight but that will bring with it a cold snap as temperatures fall and frost develops. Thermometers will drop to as low as -2C.

There could also be fog patches along the coast during the night, which may linger into the morning commute.

Heavy rain is expected tomorrow afternoon as temperatures hover around 6C.
