A Christmas Day party for needy people in Hartlepool will return this year.
People can book their place now for the four-course feast which caters for the elderly, lonely and poverty-stricken.

Rob Swan, 53, a joiner, of Milbank Road, Hartlepool, is once again giving up his Christmas Day to help organise the Yuletide treat.
But he is appealing for donations to help pay for the party, volunteers to make it go with a swing and a minibus driver.
Rob said: “The meal is going ahead this year as normal.
“Anybody who wants to can come along. We get a full range of people including pensioners on their own or people who for one reason or another can’t cook for themselves.
“We also get a lot of regulars who just make it their Christmas Day.
“We do a full four-course meal with all the trimmings and Santa comes. It is a great event and the atmosphere is always superb.”
The party caters for at least 80 people in the sitting at 12.30pm, but the venue is being kept under wraps as places are limited.
This is the seventh Christmas that Rob has organised it but the event has been happening for many years.
He added: “I got involved because I saw an article in the Mail saying if it couldn’t find anyone it wouldn’t happen. I promised to do it for at least five years and wouldn’t give up until someone else wanted to take over so we didn’t have the situation of it not happening again.”
The day is supported by about 20 volunteers but there are still places for anyone who would like to help out.
Organisers have secured £600 of the £1,200 it costs to put on and would welcome donations from any individuals or businesses.
They are also looking for a driver for the minibus-provided transport, who has a MIDAS accessible certificate.
Anyone who would like to attend the meal, can volunteer on the day, or who drive the minibus should telephone Rob on (01429) 262641.
