Boy, 6, freed after getting stuck in bus stop

A SIX-YEAR-OLD boy was released by firefighters after he got stuck in a bus stop.

The youngster, who was with his grandmother, got his leg wedged between the seat and window of the shelter outside Asda, on Marina Way, Hartlepool.

A crew from Stranton Fire Station quickly released him by gently forcing back the window to free his leg.

The incident happened at around 3.30pm on Thursday.
