Boy taken to hospital after falling out of window

An eight-year-old suffered leg injuries after falling from a window in Billingham.

The boy suffered non life-threatening injuries in the incident before being taken to James Cook University Hospital, in Middlesbrough.

The Great North East Air Ambulance attended the scene, but he was transferred to hospital by land.

The incident happened at about 6.30pm.
