A new Hartlepool coffee shop has become the latest of more than a dozen new arrivals in a shopping centre within the last year.
Coun Rob Cook, the ceremonial Mayor of Hartlepool, joined staff and Middleton Grange Centre Manager Mark Rycraft at the launch of the new Costa Coffee outlet where 10 jobs have been created.
Mr Rycraft said: “We’re thrilled to be able to welcome Costa to the centre. We’ve had a very busy few months with various new stores opening, and we have more in the pipeline that we’re looking forward to being able to announce.
“Costa’s opening is just the latest to underline how much confidence retailers have in the future of Middleton Grange.”
Dax Murphy, retail development manager for Costa Coffee, said: “The team are looking forward to being a part of the local community, getting involved with events, providing the store as a meeting place and helping with fundraising.”
