Less than 100 tickets are still up for grabs for Hartlepool’s biggest night in the business calendar.
The sales of tickets for this year’s Hartlepool Business Awards are going incredibly well for a night which promises to be the glitziest in the competition’s history.
Organiser John Megson said: “We are expecting a sellout of all 370 seats so the message to anyone wanting to attend is don’t be late in applying for a ticket or you could miss out.”
Seats are £35 each including VAT - the same as it has been for each of the last five years. That includes a three-course meal. The event will be held on Thursday, May 16, at the Borough Hall on the Headland in Hartlepool.
Mr Megson said this year’s event would have glamorous lighting and staging as a company called Artistic Solutions was involved in setting it up.
He said this year’s event would look much more like a film awards ceremony.
Nine categories are being contested with £11,000 in prizes up for grabs, including business to business services.
Shortlisted firms have already been chosen for sections including
l Retailer of the year
l Service sector
l Manufacturer of the year

And the prestigious title of Hartlepool Business of the Year.
