FIRST-TIME entrepreneur Nicola Moreland is already on the move – less than a year after forming her own business.

Now the Hartlepool woman is enjoying a link-up with a friend and colleague who is already a success in the world of hairdressing.

Nicola, 28, first began her venture into the business world when she took over a room within Tony Gallagher hairdressers, on Hartlepool Marina, last April.

But now she has shifted to take out premises within Anna Campbell Hairdressing in York Road in the town.

And she has also given her firm a new name of Forever Beautiful having previously been called Beauty by Nicola.

She said: “I have moved to bigger premises because I hope to expand. I am so busy and I would like to think that, at some point, I could take on staff when the time is right for me.”

Nicola added: “Hopefully, that will be within the next year.”

Nicola is offering the same treatments and procedures as she did at the last premises.

The former Brierton Comprehensive School pupil worked at Springs, on Hartlepool Marina, for 12 years and was its salon manager for four years. She developed her expertise when she did an apprenticeship through a hair and beauty academy.

She met Anna for the first time when they both worked within the Springs complex. She said: “Anna had always wanted beauty in with her and approached me to see if I would go in with her.”

The two entrepreneurs agreed to link up.

Anna moved into her York Road premises in November last year.

She said: “I have known Nicola for a few years and this is a three storey building. For all that I am a hairdresser, I wanted someone with the knowledge and clientele who would be in sub-letting some space and Nicola was the first port of call. We set the ball rolling and it has gone from strength to strength.”
