Two rising stars went down a storm when they talked to a meeting of business leaders.
Josh Lincoln and Sky Jackson spoke at the latest meeting of the Peterlee Business Park’s monthly Network With Your Neighbour event.
Dozens of businesses attended the event which centred on the challenges and opportunities linked to apprentices.
It was held at Profound Services, which is based in the Bracken Hill Business Park.
The meeting was held to coincide with National Apprenticeship Week and also with Profound’s launch of the National Apprenticeship Company (NAPPCO).
The event welcomed a number of speakers including Denis Heaney from the North East LEP, and Profound’s Paul Champion – with words from his own talented apprentices Josh and Sky.
The duo were a hit with a number of employers commenting on how there would be no hesitation in recruiting them.
Paul Champion said: “Apprentices can make such a difference to a business.
“They are fresh, vibrant and enthusiastic, and can be moulded to your company’s way of working.
“You’re also providing a young person with an invaluable opportunity which could impact the rest of their lives.”
Profound’s NAPPCO was created to provide a simple process for employers to get access to apprentices.
