A NETWORKING group is planning to start the new year with a chance for entrepreneurs to learn how to improve their sales.
The Women What Do group in Hartlepool will hold a 90-minute session in January called Generate More Sales, Living In Your Customer’s World.
A spokesperson for the group said: “Love it or hate it, we all need to sell stuff to keep our businesses going. How good would it be if you could generate more sales without becoming that pushy sales person?”
The session will include training expert Nevil Tynemouth from New Results Training guiding people through three key elements to generating extra sales.
They are asking explosive questions, listening without prejudice, and sleepless nights.
The Women What Do spokesman added: “At the end of the session you will have a few new skills to take away and use on your existing customers and even on some new ones too.”
Nevil Tynemouth launched two of the UK’s most familiar brands in Dyson and BlackBerry.
He has worked as part of FTSE100 companies management teams for over a decade and in sales for 25 years. Working at BT, Nevil designed, launched and lead a new sales coaching programme for over 400 colleagues from General Manager to front line salespeople and this programme is still in place and being used to great effect.
The Women What Do spokesperson added: “By sharing his own journey, methods and approach, Nevil has helped countless business people go from good to great and progress on their own successful sales careers. Nevil has been at the sharp end of sales and the depth and breadth of his experience makes his seminars come to life, inspire and motivate his audience.

The Hartlepool event will be held on Friday, January 23, from 5.30pm to 7pm at One77 in York Road.
The cost is £10 and light refreshments will be served.
The group’s events are designed to be informative, friendly and informal.
