A HOTEL has a new general manager.
Wynyard Hall Country House Hotel has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Adam Dyke, who brings 15 years experience in the hospitality industry to the four-star hotel.
Adam, 33, began his career under the direction of prestigious, Michelin-starred chef Raymond Blanc and has since enjoyed a number of management roles within hotels throughout Yorkshire.
He is joining Wynyard Hall from the award-winning Yorebridge House hotel in Bainbridge, near Hawes, North Yorkshire, and one of Adam’s priorities in his new role will be the promotion of Wynyard Hall as a wedding venue.
He also has ambitions for the hotel’s two AA rosette Wellington Restaurant, named after the Duke of Wellington who was just one of many high profile visitors to the Hall.
“I want to see it achieve four red AA stars for service and a third AA Rosette for the dining experience it offers,” he said. “Those are perfectly achievable goals and absolutely within our grasp.”
Allison Antonopoulos, managing director of Wynyard Hall, said: “Adam joins us with a proven track record across all areas of the hospita lity industry and, importantly, with the passion and commitment needed to ensure Wynyard Hall continues to develop and build on its success.”
