Camerons Brewery has revived its sponsorship of Hartlepool United.

Camerons’ involvement had been allowed to lapse during the last couple of years, during which the club dropped out of the Football League, was saved from liquidation after being bought by Raj Singh and struggled in its first season in the National League.

But, following discussions, both parties have reached agreement on a new deal which will see new Camerons branding introduced at the ground

Road Crew will be on sale at The Super 6 Stadium as part of Camerons' sponsorship of Hartlepool United.

Pools took a major step forward earlier this month when Victoria Park was renamed The Super 6 Stadium after a landmark sponsorship deal was with Soccer Saturday Super 6.

Today, the football club's chief executive Mark Maguire said: "Camerons are an important part of Hartlepool and an important partner of the club.

“In recent years it’s fair to say that the club has allowed the relationship to drift away, and there has been no benefit to the club or indeed Camerons, because we haven’t been in touch with them properly.

“Camerons are not only part of the history of Hartlepool; they are a modern, and in many ways, pioneering company developing new brands like Road Crew (which we intend to stock at the stadium within a few weeks) and their City Centre Head of Steam Brand.

“They have a presence in many major cities and will challenge us to deliver value for their sponsorship.

“Camerons and the club will now work together in forging a productive partnership, and I am genuinely excited to welcome them back on board.”

Camerons recently announced the launch of a new Tooth and Claw concept at the Lions Brewery in the Town Centre and have been brewing in Hartlepool since 1865.
