Caravan stolen from home in Hartlepool

A caravan has been stolen from a home in Hartlepool.

Police say the incident happened early in the morning of Friday, April 28 at a property on Kingfisher Close.

Officers are now appealing for information, particularly from those in the area who may have CCTV footage, and say the theft took place between 6.50am and 7.15am.

A spokesman for Cleveland Police said: "The caravan is described as being a white Swift Conqueror 630SAL caravan.

"It is believed a man driving a white estate vehicle is responsible for the theft and he is described as wearing a camouflage jacket with the hood up.

"Officers would like anyone with CCTV footage in the area of Kingfisher Close to come forward as they may be able to assist with enquiries.

"Anyone with information regarding the driver of the vehicle or the whereabouts of the caravan is asked to contact PC Hollie Smaldon on the non-emergency number 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
