Hartlepool Mail Best of Health Awards 2014. Winners all.
Hartlepool Mail Best of Health Awards 2014. Winners all.

DO you know a doctor, nurse, GP or dentist who deserves praise.

Is there a midwife, health care assistant or care worker who really does warrant some recognition.

We want you to put them in the running for an honour by entering them in this year’s Hartlepool Best of Health Awards.

Perhaps you have had excellent treatment from an optometrist or a hospital team. Whatever the cause, there’s a chance for them to win one of the categories in this year’s awards.

We have some fantastic backers on board thanks to the Hartlepool and North Tees Clinical Commissioning Group, the North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust, and Seneca Homes.

Now all we need is the contenders.

It is really easy to nominate. All you have to do is fill in the form in today’s paper and send it to us, or go online and visit the website at http://www.jpne-events.co.uk/hartlepool-best-of-health/.

Feel free to nominate as many worthy causes as you wish. We want to make sure that this a year when the judges have a really difficult task on their hands to choose a winner.

There’s plenty of time for you to come forward with your entries.

The deadline for entries is May 26, and nominations can be made by members of the public or colleagues.

In all categories, judges will be looking for evidence of how nominated teams and individuals have consistently delivered high quality patient-centred services and/or examples of demonstrating an excellent attitude towards patients in the Hartlepool area.

After the deadline has passed, a panel of judges will meet to draw up a shortlist in each category. And then, the elite of the health world will find out how they have done.

The winners will be announced at a grand finals night at the Hardwick Hall Hotel on June 18. For now, though, we need lots of entries. Get nominating either on this page or at http://www.jpne-events.co.uk/hartlepool-best-of-health/
