Staff at Huntsman Tioxide’s Greatham Site gathered £2,080 for Hartlepool & District Hospice.

Worker Ian Boagey cycled from coast to coast, and colleague Paul Landislaus completed the 100 kilometre Ypres Challenge march. Contractors and kind-hearted employees donated raffle prizes and attended coffee mornings organised by Janette Tomlinson, while Greatham Community Action Team donated additional funds. Hospice corporate fundraiser Carol Sennett said: “The support the Hospice receives from the local community and businesses ensures it can continue to provide its range of specialist palliative care services to the communities of Hartlepool and East Durham; our partnership with Huntsman Tioxide is testament to this.”

Huntsman site Administrator Janette Tomlinson said: “We are proud to support the Hospice.” It has also received £278 from site contractors K Home as part of their safety incentive scheme.
