From clearing to adjustment: The key Ucas dates you need to know on A-level results day

Here’s a list of key Ucas application and clearing deadlines:

August 18, 2016

A-level, GCE, and Advanced Diploma results day. Adjustment opens for registration.

August 31

The deadline for any remaining conditions to be met – otherwise the university or college might not accept a student.

September 20

The last date you can submit applications to 2016 entry courses. Applications must arrive at UCAS by 6pm.

September 30

Clearing vacancies removed from the Ucas search tool.

October 20

Last date to add Clearing choices and for universities/colleges to make decisions.
