Club is bouncing after success

A TRAMPOLINE club was jumping for joy after several members achieved success at a regional competition.

Members of the Aeronauts Trampoline Club in Hartlepool performed well at the competition in Carlisle.

The girls, aged between nine-16, competed in different grades according to their age and standard.

Emily Kirkham came first in the Grade D for under 15-year-olds meaning she qualified for national level.

Elizabeth Cooper moved up a grade coming first in the Grade E Under 15s category.

Meanwhile, Charlotte Harland claimed first in Grade H Under 15s and Sophie Graham achieved third in Grade H under 19s.

Linsey Ryder, head coach, said: “They did brilliantly, I was over the moon, especially with a few qualifying to move into higher categories.

“Also, Emily going into nationals is really exciting. They trained exceptionally hard for it and they pulled off some great moves.”

Aeronauts Trampoline Club practise every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at English Martyrs School leisure centre.
