Come and join the army of NHS Trust volunteers
Volunteers can help in many areas including the hospital radio, meeting and greeting patients and visitors, as a patient helper or as a volunteer driver.
Volunteer co-ordinator Paul Wharton said: “We’re very fortunate to have so many volunteers already, but we want to encourage more people to join us.

“Being a volunteer doesn’t mean giving up whole days at a time. There are opportunities available to suit everyone.
“Any hours you can spare is very much appreciated. You can fit the hours in around your own commitments, during the day, evening or weekends.
“The work volunteers do makes such a difference to staff, patients and visitors and we are very grateful for their efforts.”
