Comedy acts set to take the stage in latest Hot Potato show

A trio of in-demand entertainers will head the line-up at the next instalment of a Hartlepool comedy club.

The March meeting of the Hot Potato Comedy Club will have Geoff Boyz, Vince Atta and Freddy Quinne on the bill.

Laughter fans will meet at the Town Hall Theatre on Saturday, March 25 and Peter Vincent of promoters Ten Feet Tall said: “The new comedy season is cracking along, and we’ve got another great night here.

“Freddy Quinne is one of the most entertaining new breed of comics currently bursting through onto the circuit, and we’re chuffed to have him here in Hartlepool as our special guest MC.”

He said Geoff Boyz and Vince Atta were two of the most in-demand headliners in the land.

“Geoff always goes down a storm at the biggest comedy clubs you can think of right across the globe, and he was even one of the first British comics to play in China!

“And Vince Atta has to be seen to be believed. An absolutely unstoppable force-of-nature, it’s no wonder he’s loved by comics and audiences all over Europe and the UK.

“That’s a fantastic line-up right there, and we can’t wait to get cracking on the night.”

The show starts at 8pm and doors open at 7pm. The show is suitable for people aged 18-plus and tickets are £7 on the early bird scheme which is available up to a week in advance on the Hot Potato Comedy Club gig.

After that, tickets are £9.

The Hot Potato gig for April is also being planned and starring attractions look set to include Matt Reed as master of ceremonies as well as Glenn Wool and Bobby Mair.

Hot Potato favourite Matt Reed will host the show with the double bill of Canadians Glenn Wool and Bobby Mair in support.

It will be held on Saturday, April 29 and the same arrangements will be in place for tickets.

And once again, the show will be held at 8pm with doors at the Town Hall Theatre opening at 7pm.
