Joanna Brobbel, 33, who owns town firm Artistic Solutions, is planning to make one of her dreams come true by tackling a skydive.

She will do it with Skydive St George at Durham Tees Valley Airport on Sunday, September 11, and is raising money for Miles for Men.

Joanna said: “I have always wanted to do a skydive and always wanted to do it for charity.”

Then by chance, some representatives from Miles for Men came to the unit where Artistic Solutions are based and it led to the company becoming one of the partners of the charity, said Joanna.

“I thought what better way to do it than to do it for them.”

Now she is set to tackle her first ever skydive experience and has already raised more than £700 towards her £1,000 target.
