Defender Michael Ledger is out with a broken nose sustained in the 2-0 win at Torquay.

Ledger started the National League fixture at centre-half before being switched to right-back, where he suffered a knock to the head in the second half, when he was replaced by Kenton Richardson.

With Liam Donnelly and Louis Laing performing well at the heart of the defence, Richardson will start at right-back.

The teenager, who had a good run in the side under Dave Jones in the second half of last season, impressed as a sub at Plainmoor and will start at the Globe Arena tomorrow (kick-off 3pm).

Harrison is unlikely to make any other alterations following a good second-half show.

“Ledge has a broken nose and will be having an operation on Monday,” said Harrison.

“He’ll be all right after three or four days and then will be able to play in a mask.”

Midfielder Conor Newton, who has been out since the win at Leyton Orient, returns to the squad tomorrow after resuming training this week.

But the 26-year-old will have to be content with one of the seven substitute jerseys.

So, too, will Devante Rodney who missed last week’s match through suspension.

Strikers James Thorne and Tomi Adeloye remain sidelined, but striker Jake Cassidy has been given the all-clear to re-start training, though he will be working with strength and conditioning coach Craig Hubbard before taking part in squad sessions.

Morecambe will hand a start to veteran midfielder Kevin Ellison, who was a second-half sub last week.
