Police are trying to reunite the owners of these treasured ornaments that are believed to have been stolen from a Hartlepool cemetery.
The haul of mementos were seized by Hartlepool Police during an investigation of thefts from gravesides at Stranton Cemetery in Brierton Lane.
They include fairy and baby statues including lights and are believed to have been swiped from young children’s plots.
The items were recovered from an address in the Rossmere area of town.
Two stone cherubs that were suspected to have been stolen from the cemetery were also found at the address and have been successfully reunited with their rightful owners.
A woman has been arrested in connection with the thefts and is helping police with their inquiries.
All of the items shown here are believed to have been stolen from the cemetery in the last two to three weeks.
Hartlepool Neighbourhood Police thanked the public for their help with the investigation.
