A BURGLAR has been jailed after stealing a computer games console belonging to his sister’s children.

Jonathan McGarry, 33, took the X-box from his sister’s home in Everett Street, Hartlepool.

Teesside Crown Court heard he took it because he believed he was owed £350 by his sister.

The court was told that just two days before the Hartlepool burglary on November 19 last year, McGarry had stolen a laptop a home in Middlesbrough where he had been living until losing his accommodation there.

McGarry, of no fixed abode, admitted two counts of burglary and was jailed for 20 months by Judge Peter Bowers.
