Court date for 13 people accused of being part of drugs ring with links between Hartlepool, Sunderland and Liverpool

THIRTEEN people accused of being part of a drugs ring with links to Sunderland and Liverpool have made their first crown court appearance.

Seven Hartlepool men are charged with conspiring with others to supply cocaine between January and March last year.

They are Alan Forcer, 34, who is being held on remand at Northumberland Prison, David Gallagher, 54, of Wharton Terrace; David Haggan, 42, of Cranwell Road; Lee Haggan, 37, of Campbell Road; Michael Jackson, 61, of Kilmarnock Road; Neil Jackson, 41, of Dowson Road; and Lee Ryan, 30, of Holme House Prison.

Gillian Jackson, 52, of Thornville Road, Hartlepool, is charged with possessing cannabis resin with intent to supply on November 20, along with Michael Jackson.

Two men from Liverpool and three from Sunderland also face conspiracy charges.

The case was adjourned until November 7.
