Drug dealer spared jailed after being caught with wad of cash in Hartlepool

A CANNABIS dealer caught in Hartlepool has been spared jail.

Police pulled over Anthony Miller, 25, in York Road, Hartlepool, after officers believed he was acting suspiciously.

They found around £2,795 in cash on him and an empty bag which smelled strongly of cannabis.

His mobile phoned showed he was involved in dealing cannabis.

Miller also had a small amount of cocaine when he was stopped on December 29, 2012. He admitted being concerned in the supply of cannabis and possession of cocaine with intent to supply.

Miller, of Forster Avenue, Murton, County Durham, was given 18 months suspended for two years with a year’s supervision and 240 hours unpaid work.
