Five Hartlepool men appear in court accused of being involved in UK-wide drug conspiracy

FIVE Hartlepool men have appeared in court in connection with alleged involvement in a UK-wide conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs.

David Garside, 29, of Hampstead Gardens, Adrian Morfitt, 29, of Caistor Drive, Paul Rudd, 33, of Arncliffe Gardens, Mark Williamson, 36, of Park Square and Neil Gutteridge, 29, of Gower Walk, have all been remanded in custody after appearing at Teesside Magistrates’ Court.

A total of 16 people appeared at court following raids in Hartlepool, Wales, Liverpool and Holme House Prison and all but one, a woman from Wales, were remanded.

The town men’s cases were committed to be heard at Teesside Crown Court on June 25.
