Hartlepool man to go on trial accused of robbing teen of mobile during snowstorm

A man is due to stand trial later this year accused of robbing a teenage boy of his mobile phone during a snowstorm.

Michael Thompson, 35, appeared at Teesside Crown Court on Monday, June 14, when he pleaded not guilty to the offence.

The 16-year-old alleged victim is said to have been robbed on January 27 this year.

Recorder Marco Giuliani fixed the trial for Thursday, November 11.

The case is expected to last between one and two days.

Thompson, of The Cliff, Hartlepool, was granted bail.
