Hemwand Ali Hussain murder: Two further arrests in relation to death of Hartlepool dad

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a Hartlepool dad was found in a house.

Hemwand Ali Hussain was found dead on Sunday, September 15.

The men, who are aged 24 and 33, are in custody as Cleveland Police’s inquiries into the death of Hemwand Ali Hussain continue.

Mr Hussain, dad-of-two, was found dead in a house in the town’s Charterhouse Street on Sunday, September 15.

The two men, who were arrested in London with the assistance of Metropolitan Police officers, will face questioning by detectives in due course.

The scene where the body of Hemwand Ali Hussain was discovered in Charterhouse Street, Hartlepool.

Three men have already been charged in connection with Mr Hussain’s death and a dedicated team of detectives continues to work on the investigation.

Noza Saffari, 38, of Park Lane, in Middlesbrough, Anxhelo Xhaferi, 22, of Acton Street, Middlesbrough, and Dorian Pirija, 31, of Trillo Avenue, Bolton, are due to stand trial for murder in February 2020.
