Police are appealing for information after two teenagers were assaulted, one with a knife, on the pier behind Hartlepool yacht club.
The incident took place on Monday 24th August at around 8pm.
The two victims, a male aged 16 and female aged 15, were riding their bikes when they were approached by two males who are believed to be around 16 years of age with strong Liverpool accents.
Both victims were assaulted and sustained minor injuries and the male victim had his T-shirt slashed with a knife.
The first suspect is described as a white male with a Liverpool accent, with long, dark hair and braces on his teeth along the bottom set.
He was wearing a dark and light ‘rain mac’ and grey three-quarter tracksuit bottoms.
The second suspect is also described as a white male with a Liverpool accent. He had long, dark hair and was wearing a black coat and grey tracksuit bottoms.
It is believed that the suspects could have been visiting the Hartlepool area.
