Man accused of raping women in Hartlepool and on Merseyside


A MAN accused of raping two women has appeared in court.

Kevin Wilson is charged with two separate counts of alleged rape, one which is said to have taken place in Hartlepool, and the other in Merseyside, against women over the age of 16-years-old.

The 22-year-old also faces a charge of sexually assaulting a woman in Hartlepool.

Wilson, of Aldermans Green Road, in Coventry, appeared at Hartlepool Magistrates’ Court.

Chairman of the bench Keith Kitching sent the case to be dealt with at Teesside Crown Court, in Middlesbrough, on October 10.

The defendant was released on bail until that time..
