Pensioner breaks wrist in Hartlepool hit and run


A PENSIONER was left with a broken wrist after a hit and run in broad daylight.

The 72-year-old man needed hospital treatment after he was struck by a car in Young Street, Hartlepool.

The incident happened at around 3.45pm last Friday, October 14.

After the incident the vehicle didn’t stop at the scene.

Police have now issued an appeal for witnesses and are asking anyone with further information to come forward.
