Police are appealing to trace the owners of items which are suspected to have been stolen from vehicles and homes in Hartlepool.

Police officers have recovered a range of items which include bottles of alcohol, designer sunglasses, work tools in a case, a diagnostic tool, a laptop and a Pandora bracelet in a box.

They believe that the listed items may have been stolen from vehicles or homes around the Brierton Lane, Sinclair Road, Longfellow Walk and Fletcher Walk areas of the town.

A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary and has been released under investigation pending further inquiries.”
