Police arrest 16-year-old boy in wake of double flashing incident on Hartlepool path

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested after inquiry was launched after two lone women were subjected to flashing incidents on a Hartlepool path.

Cleveland Police has today, Monday, June 21, confirmed the teenager has been arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and since released under investigation pending further inquiries.

The first happened place on Saturday, June 12, at 6.55pm when a man on foot spoke briefly to a lone woman who was walking her dog.

He exposed himself and walked out of the path, turning left onto Ocean Road.

At 3.45pm on Monday, June 14, police believe the same man, who was on a bike, spoke to a lone woman walking her dogs, then exposed himself before cycling off.
