Police warning after early morning burglary in Hartlepool street

Police are reminding Hartlepool residents to remain vigilant after a burglary in the early hours of the morning.

Officers were called to a report of a burglary in Primrose Road, in the Bishop Cuthbert area of the town, between 2am and 6.30am on Thursday, November 14.

The man believed to be responsible was also seen behaving suspiciously on Watercress Close, Cornflower Close and Skylark Close.Officers are urging residents to keep doors and windows locked, use timer switches to ensure that a light comes on in the hours of darkness when no one is home, and to remain vigilant when it comes to home security.
