POLICE are warning people to be on their guard after “extremely dangerous” pills were stolen.

Strong painkillers were reportedly stolen yesterday from an address in Chatsworth Gardens, Billingham.

The prescribed drugs are believed to be 100mg of slow release morphine.

They are little grey tablets with the letters ‘MST’ on the packet.

Cleveland Police said: “The medication could be extremely dangerous if taken by anyone other than the person they were prescribed for and anyone who finds the drugs is asked to hand them into any pharmacy or a police officer.”
