Teenager left with head injuries after attack with blunt instrument in Hartlepool

A TEENAGER has been left with head injuries following an attack in Hartlepool.

Police are appealing for information after the 19-year-old man was believed to have been attacked with a blunt instrument.

The man was found by a member of the public at around 4am yesterday on St Abbs Way in the town with the injuries which are believed to have been caused by an assault.

He is now receiving treatment at James Cook University Hospital, in Middlesbrough, where he is described as being in a “stable” condition.
