Thousands of pounds in cash stolen in knife-point robbery at pub

A Billingham pub has been raided by a robber armed with a knife who escaped with thousands of pounds in cash.

Police were called to the Kings Arms public house on Saturday July 4.

Between 12.15am and 12.35am a member of staff was threatened by a robber armed with a kitchen knife.

The pub worker was pulled to the floor as he cashed up.

The robber escaped with thousands of pounds in cash.

He is described as white with a fair complexion, 6ft tall and stocky with a mousey/ginger beard.

He was wearing a grey hooded top, black jeans, white trainers and black gloves.
