The hunt is still on to trace a missing Hartlepool man wanted by police.

Officers are continuing to search for Adrian Craigs who is suspected of committing a number of crimes.

And police warn anyone who is harbouring him could also land themselves with a criminal conviction.

The 31-year-old is wanted in connection with a number of offences including breach of bail, actual bodily harm, false imprisonment, common assault and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Chief Superintendent Glenn Gudgeon said: “I am certain that someone knows of the whereabouts of Adrian Craigs and would warn anyone who may be harbouring him that they could potentially be committing a criminal offence.

“I believe that he is still in the Hartlepool area and I appeal to him directly to hand himself in.”

Anyone who sees him is asked not to approach him but to call 999 and anyone who may know of his whereabouts is also asked to call 999, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
