Where you can attend counter-terrorism training sessions in Hartlepool this weekend

Counter Terrorism Policing is a collaboration of UK police forces working with the UK intelligence community to help protect the public and national security by preventing, deterring and investigating terrorist activity.

Now, a programme of counter-terrorism training sessions are taking place in Hartlepool on how you can do your bit.

An e-learning module devised by Counter Terrorism officers and security experts will be available to complete at the events, and will include learning how to spot the signs of suspicious behaviour and understand what to do in the event of a major incident.

The drop-in sessions will run for 90 minutes each at the following times on Saturday, February 1 next to Deichmann:

:: 9am and 10.30am

:: 10.30am and 12.pm

:: 12pm and 1.30pm

:: 1.30pm and 3pm

:: 3pm and 4.30pm
