DANCERS waltzed away the afternoon at a successful tea dance which raised money for a church.
Seaton Carew Methodist Church staged the event which also featured live music from Peterlee singer Sandra Atheron and friends.
Visitors enjoyed an afternoon of dancing, live music and refreshments and the event raised around £50 for the church in Farndale Road.
Church member Pat Minto who helped to organise the event said: “It was absolutely excellent and everybody thoroughly enjoyed it.”
The church plans to hold another dance later in the year.
