Syllabus secretary Margaret Mills urged people to come along and join the growing membership.

She said: “It is for six weeks and it will cover aspects such as basic photography, how to use a digital camera, composition and what makes a good photograph.”

Margaret urged anyone with a camera to bring it with them and added: “We will go over the basics.

“We will cover the full use of the camera instead of just sticking it on automatic. It is all about getting the best out of the camera using manual settings.”
