PEOPLE had the chance to plan a dream wedding at an exhibition.
The event was organised by etc lifestyle magazine, published by the Mail’s parent company Northeast Press, which teamed up with Seaham Hall for the show.
The luxury, five-star venue – which recently unveiled the results of a £2m refurbishment – opened its doors to brides and grooms-to-be looking to create their own piece of history.
At etc’s Wedding Show brides and grooms-to-be got to peruse the stalls which featured hand-picked exhibitors.
There was everything from the region’s top wedding photographers, cakes, mother of the bride outfits, videographers and honeymoon destinations, from romantic resorts to adventure safaris.
An elite catwalk show featured gorgeous gowns from Just Perfect, worn by beauty queens from Sunderland’s Miss 24 carat beauty pageant. Swing singer Anthony Stringer, who’s renowned in the industry for his Rat-Pack-style performances was also crooning during the catwalk.
Celebrity make-up artist Amanda Bell was also on hand to offer advice to soon-to-be brides and the team from Hair by Daniel John showcased the best bridal up-dos.
The luxury lifestyle magazine for the North-East will be hosting a second Wedding Show at Radisson Blu, in Durham City, on March 23.
