Teachers and pupils at Shotton Hall Primary School have been doing their bit for Sport Relief.
The pupils at the Peterlee school have raised more than £500 for charity by coming to school in sports clothes .
There was also a sponsored football match between the football team and staff.
A school spokesman said: “As a Rights Respecting school, we feel that it is really important to raise awareness of places around the world where children’s basic rights are being denied.
“We therefore hope that our contribution to Sports Relief will help children in our country and around the world to have some of those rights met, such as an education and medical care.”
