According to the current forecast from the Met Office, Hartlepool is set to is set to see a clear Christmas Eve, with some sun coming through.

Temperatures are estimated to be between 5°C and -1°C on Monday, with a slightly milder forecast for Tuesday. The weather will be cloudy, with a cold start.

The last official white Christmas was in 2010, say the Met Office, when there was widespread snow across North East and South West England, the Midlands, Northern Ireland, Scotland and parts of Wales.
